We are excited to announce an opportunity to join an award-winning jewellery brand. Based in their Head Office in Manchester, the company is seeking a Buyer to work across their Fashion Jewellery ranges.
In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the department's success by proactively presenting new ideas, identifying areas of growth, and ensuring deadlines are met. You will be responsible for conducting regular competitor analysis to ensure the range remains competitive on price and style, using trend and colour information to establish plans for the season ahead. Managing the critical path will also be key, ensuring orders are placed on time, PI's are approved, and packaging is sent to suppliers.
You will oversee supplier management, briefing them on the range direction to support the development process. Confidence in managing the department is essential, as is the ability to mentor and develop junior team members. As Buyer, you will also be responsible for meeting sales targets, managing budgets at cost, maintaining target margins, and ensuring the right stock is delivered to the right stores. There will be international travel as part of the role.
