Our client, a global powerhouse in fashion design, development, and sourcing, is seeking a dynamic Senior Designer to drive forward innovative, commercial collections for some of the biggest names on the high street.
With over a century of supply chain expertise behind them, our client partners with major retailers and supermarket fashion brands to deliver trend-driven, mass-market apparel. They are now looking for a Senior Designer to take charge of formal and casual bottoms, jackets, and denim - bringing fresh ideas, commercial savvy, and impeccable execution.
The Role
This is a hands-on, fast-paced design position where you will own the full creative process - from concept to customer-ready product.
- Create exciting, commercially viable collections shaped by market insight and trend research.
- Collaborate daily with global suppliers and production teams across the Far East.
- Work closely with buyers and account managers to develop standout ranges for high-street fashion brands.
- Translate inspiration into sellable designs, producing detailed specs and artwork for factory development.
- Present concepts to customers with confidence, both virtually and in person.
- Travel internationally to factories, sourcing hubs, and trend destinations.
- Mentor junior designers and play an active role in fostering team development.
What You'll Bring
- A degree in Fashion Design or related field.
- Proven experience designing for high-street retailers or supermarkets - ideally from a supplier background.
- Strong multiproduct experience across bottoms, jackets and denim.
- Solid understanding of garment construction, production processes, and working with factories in Bangladesh, China, or Vietnam.
- Outstanding trend forecasting ability with a keen eye for colour, fabric, and silhouette.
- Confidence presenting to buyers and building strong cross-functional relationships.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Freehand, Shima Apex and strong digital collaboration skills.
- Highly organised, detail-driven and comfortable managing multiple live projects.
- A natural mentor with a collaborative, proactive approach and passion for pushing creative boundaries.
