The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.
We are looking for a Garment Technologist to join a growing outdoor sportswear brand based in Liverpool. In this role, you will ensure that all products are developed to the highest quality and are fit for purpose, overseeing the product development process to uphold these standards. This includes creating initial tech packs and managing fittings at every stage, working closely with the Design and Product Development teams.
You will be responsible for maintaining the block library, ensuring consistency in grading and fit across all products. You will also assess pre-production and production samples, verifying that all quality and production standards are met before shipment. This involves tracking and approving QC and AQL reports, as well as signing off on wash care labels.
Your duties will include reviewing test reports and providing a commercial assessment of the results. Ensuring the critical path is adhered to and all key deadlines are met is crucial to this role. You will work closely with suppliers and factories, conducting QC checks when necessary. Additionally, you will support the analysis of returns data to further improve product quality.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience and showcase strong technical knowledge across a wide range of products.
