We are seeking an experienced and established Garment Technologist with a strong background in the fashion industry. The ideal candidate will have expertise working with both kids wear and adult fashion, bringing a broad understanding of the market and trends.
A deep knowledge of consumer product safety requirements is essential, as well as the ability to interpret relevant legislation to ensure full compliance. The candidate should also demonstrate a strong ability to risk assess products, with a solid grasp of testing and performance standards.
The role requires an excellent communicator who is comfortable collaborating with colleagues and customers at all levels. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment is key, along with being highly organized, efficient, and capable of meeting tight deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) is necessary, and the ideal candidate will be driven, results-oriented, proactive, and focused on providing effective solutions.
