Experienced Garment Technologist – Mens & Womenswear

We have an opportunity for a Garment Technologist to join a global branded fashion business based in central London.

Working across key brands within the business your responsibilities will include:

• Create workbooks for all styles, including construction methods, fit comments and graded specs.
• Prepare garments for Fit Sessions, update workbooks, review construction and components.
• Lead fit sessions for all new shapes, ensuring the designers are happy with the visual of the product.
• Ensure all products are fit for purpose and meet companies' Fit and Quality standards.
• Send fit amends/ spec changes to suppliers ensuring these are clear and easy to follow, including images and annotations.
• Advise on the best construction methods/ techniques to help improve the quality and cost of product.
• Work closely with suppliers and build a good working relationship.
• Ensuring production process runs smoothly, dealing with any issues that may arise.
