Own the roadmap. Build the function. Keep an international business ahead of change. Sustainability is no longer simply an ambition—it is a commercial and regulatory priority. Batra Group, a leading supplier of branded sports and fashion products across the UK and Europe, is looking for an experienced Group Product Sustainability Lead to establish and lead this critical function. This is not a role where you inherit a finished framework. It is an opportunity to create one.
Working across product, sourcing, operations, finance and external partners, you will take ownership of the Group’s product, packaging and sustainability compliance programme—turning complex legislation into clear, commercially practical action.
Your impact
- Lead UK and European compliance registrations and reporting
- Develop the Group’s product compliance and sustainability roadmap
- Establish robust data collection, governance and reporting processes
- Drive readiness for EPR, PPWR, Digital Product Passports and emerging product legislation
- Manage packaging, sustainability reporting and end-of-life obligations
- Create clear accountability across multiple business functions
- Build a scalable compliance framework to support continued European growth
- Monitor regulatory change and ensure the business stays ahead of it
What we’re looking for
- You will be a knowledgeable, commercially minded sustainability or product compliance professional who can move confidently between strategy and hands-on delivery.
- You’ll bring strong knowledge of UK and EU product and packaging regulation
- Experience across EPR, PPWR, DPP or related sustainability legislation
- The confidence to establish and lead a function from the ground up
- Excellent organisation, accuracy and attention to detail
- A pragmatic approach to solving complex compliance challenges
- The ability to influence stakeholders and drive action across a business
- A proactive, resilient and genuinely curious mindset
This role will suit a self-starter who wants real ownership, visibility and the opportunity to make a lasting impact within a growing international group. Ready to turn regulation into action and build something that matters? We’d love to hear from you.
