Our client is an exciting and growing entertainment brand based in North London, looking for a hands-on, experienced Ride Technician to join their technical team. This full-time, permanent role is perfect for someone who loves solving problems, working with arcade machines and mechanical rides, and being part of a fast-paced fun environment. You’ll report to the Technical Manager and be responsible for ensuring all the rides are operating at their best, minimising downtime and maximising fun!

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of arcade machines, rides, and vending units
  • Work with equipment from leading manufacturers like Sega, Namco, Bay Tek, and ICE
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance (PPM) to reduce failures
  • Test and play machines daily to ensure smooth operation
  • Accurately document issues using a ticketing system
  • Diagnosing part issues, ensuring repairs are completed to a high standard
  • Work independently and efficiently during live operational hours
  • Support opening/closing technical checks, including weekends

What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills:

  • Hands-on experience in arcade machine repair and ride maintenance (3+ years)
  • Familiarity with machines from Sega, Namco, Bay Tek, ICE, or similar manufacturers
  • Strong electrical/electronic diagnostic skills
  • Great at troubleshooting and solving technical issues
  • Self-motivated and able to prioritise tasks without supervision
  • Comfortable working in a loud, family-oriented entertainment environment
