We're partnering with an established, successful ladies' fashion retailer to find a commercially sharp
Merchandising Manager
to take ownership of its day-to-day merchandising function.
With
stores, concessions and a growing e-commerce business , this is a genuinely influential role where your decisions around stock, intake, margin and markdown will have a visible impact on performance.
This isn't a role for someone who just reports the numbers.
We're looking for someone who can read the trade, spot the opportunity and make things happen.
THE ROLE
You'll lead the merchandising function across the business, working closely with the Directors, Buying, Retail, E-commerce, Finance and Warehouse teams.
You'll own and influence: • Sales, stock, intake, margin and markdown performance • Seasonal and annual sales, stock and buy plans • Open-to-buy and stock commitments • Forecasting and reforecasting based on trade • Allocation, replenishment and stock productivity • Development and leadership of a four-person merchandising team
ABOUT YOU
You're likely to be an experienced Senior Merchandiser or Merchandising Manager from a fashion or multi-site retail environment.
You'll be:
Commercial. Analytical. Decisive.
You'll bring: • Strong fashion merchandising experience • Excellent sales, stock, intake and markdown planning skills • Seasonal budgeting, forecasting and buy planning experience • Experience trading across stores and e-commerce • Previous team management experience • The confidence to influence senior stakeholders and challenge decisions when the numbers say otherwise
Concession experience would be a bonus.
