CAD Designer Streetwear Watford | Β£27,000Β£30,000 per annum DOE | Full-time, Office-based Got an eye for detail sharp enough to spot a millimetre out on a tech pack? We want to hear from you. We are recruiting for a group behind a portfolio of globally recognised streetwear brands , looking for a CAD Designer to join their in-house technical team. Youll be responsible for turning design briefs, sketches and specifications into accurate, production-ready CAD drawings and technical designs , supporting the development of products from initial concept through to production. This is a hands-on role at the heart of the product development process, working closely with Design, Production, Project Management and suppliers to ensure every detail is accurate and deadlines remain on track. What Youll Be Doing Creating and amending accurate CAD drawings and technical designs from tech packs Producing product overviews and supplier overviews from existing CADs Supporting the development and completion of tech packs Producing detailed technical drawings for garment construction and production Interpreting design briefs, sketches, specifications and measurements accurately Working closely with designers, production teams, project managers and suppliers Maintaining organised and up-to-date CAD files and project documentation Ensuring accuracy and consistency across technical information and designs What Youll Bring 2+ years CAD design experience , ideally within apparel, fashion or a related product environment Strong CAD and technical drawing skills Excellent accuracy and attention to detail Experience working with tech packs, specifications and measurements Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines Confidence working collaboratively with designers, production teams and suppliers An interest in streetwear, fashion and product development A proactive and organised approach to your work The Opportunity This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-focused CAD Designer to join an established business working across globally recognised streetwear brands and play an important role in taking designs from brief through to production.
