Our client, Sefton Council are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Business Support Minute Taker to join our friendly and supportive Business Support Children’s Services Team. This is a vital role providing high-quality administrative and clerical support to the Care Experienced Teams within Children’s Social Care. You’ll play an important part in ensuring meetings are accurately recorded and essential documentation is produced in a timely and professional manner. Key Responsibilities * Attend and accurately record Strategy Meetings and other professional meetings. * Type and format formal reports, letters, memos, and correspondence. * Provide general administrative and financial support, including petty cash handling. * Collate, file, and maintain records relating to the Care Experienced Teams. * Manage incoming and outgoing mail and undertake reception duties as required. * Ensure that all client information is handled securely and in compliance with data protection legislation. * Participate in training, supervision, and team meetings to support your professional development. About You You will be an experienced administrator with excellent attention to detail and the ability to take clear, concise, and accurate minutes in formal settings. You’ll be comfortable working under pressure, meeting tight deadlines, and handling sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. Essential Criteria * Proven experience in minute-taking and clerical administration. * Strong word processing and IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word. * Excellent communication and organisational skills. * Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities. * GCSEs (A–C) in English and Maths, or equivalent qualifications/experience.
