Success Recruit is working with an established family‑run construction business based around Billericay / Basildon in Essex to fill the role of Office Administrator to support the Office Manager and the office team. The role is suitable for someone with proven experience in general administration, basic accounting and sales order processing skills, and a friendly customer‑service attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate confidently and professionally, solving problems where necessary.
- Demonstrate self‑motivation and efficiency, multi‑tasking and meeting deadlines.
- Use IT confidently and learn new IT systems easily.
- Answer telephone enquiries and manage a busy inbox.
- Collect and organise timesheets for engineers in a timely manner.
- Obtain receipts, record expenses and reconcile against credit cards.
- Update Excel spreadsheets with job orders and manage engineer diaries and workloads.
- Maintain company vehicle logs.
- Prepare quotes, invoicing and send them via email.
- Support ad‑hoc accounts and administrative tasks as requested by the Office Manager.
