Success Recruit are currently working with an established family run construction business based near Billericay in Essex seeking a Temporary Office and Invoicing Administrator to support the Office Manager and team in a fast-paced busy environment. This position will suit someone who has proven experience with general administration, knowledge of accounts and sales order processing alongside a friendly customer service manner and initiative.

The successful Temporary Office & Invoicing Administrator will be expected to:

  • Have confident, professional communication skills with a desire to problem solve where required
  • Able to demonstrate self-motivation and efficiency with an ability to multi-task, meeting deadlines
  • Have a good knowledge level in Excel and other Microsoft platforms

The purpose of the Temporary Office & Invoicing Administrator is to proactively support this busy and growing business allowing the office manager to effectively work at a more strategic level within the business, supporting with all general administration and building strong relationships with engineers/clients daily.

Duties to include but not limited to:

  • Answering the telephone and dealing with enquiries
  • Supporting with a busy inbox on the Company system responding and prioritising appropriately
  • Collecting and organising timesheets for engineers in a timely manner
  • Obtaining receipts, recording expenses & checking against credit cards
  • Updating excel spreadsheets with job orders
  • Updating engineer diaries and managing workloads
  • Ensuring company vehicle logs are maintained, when required
  • Typing up quotes and sending via email
  • Invoicing activity
  • Supporting with accounts alongside office manager when required

This will suit someone who enjoys working within a busy environment supporting with general admin and accounts, alongside a desire to build and maintain excellent relationships with engineers, clients, and team within a construction environment. Previous experience working in a small, but busy accounts / administration / construction environment is an advantage as no day is the same.

Hours: 8.30 – 4.30 pm Mon to Fri – flexibility around these core hours could be workable for the right person

Salary: £14/£15 per hour
