Success Recruit are working with a locally based Insurance MGA, accredited with Investors in People, seeking a maternity leave replacement for a period of 12 – 15 months as a full time Office/Operations Manager. The successful candidate will be operationally focused managing the daily operations, effectively and efficiently supporting the smooth delivery of the day to day running, the primary point of contact whilst also assisting the Managing Director. HR knowledge would be an advantage. This role is an office-based position and the successful Office/Operations Manager, will be a good team member and want to be part of a growing business. The successful Office/Operations Manager will be expected to: * Demonstrate strong organisational and communication skills with attention to detail * Have a proactive, focused understanding of effective efficiency * Be approachable, customer focused and demonstrate relationship management The successful Office/Operations Manager will be rewarded with: * 30 days annual leave (including B/H’s) plus additional holiday for service * Annual Bonus Scheme * Enrolment to a health package, critical illness and death in service cover Job Description: To support with the daily running of the company and its operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processes across all departments. Duties to include but not limited to: * Oversee the day-to-day maintenance of the office liaising with 3rd parties where necessary * Work closely with the Managing Director, senior staff and oversee 2 reports who will assist in this role * Be involved within general HR support to include the HR Portal being maintained and ensuring staff being compliant and on track with training and development * Having an overview of ensuring documentation in relation to H & S is compliant and updated * Engage in organising travel, accommodation, for business and social events, booking meeting rooms and external venues * PA support to the Managing Director, organise and schedule board meetings, including liaising with 3rd part minute takes and filing board papers for the Managing Director * Support in house social committee meetings, projects and various networking events * Adhoc administration duties supporting company directors * Act as the liaison with the 3rd party IT helpdesk, ensuring prompt resolution of issues * Maintain and update the IT asset register, generate and distribute phone reports where required monitoring the company’s security score escalating potential breaches Hours: Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm – office based with potential flexibility after a period of time Salary: £30,000 – £37,000 DOE Looking to find your dream job?
