Success Recruit are currently working with a well-established family-run business in the renewable energy sector seeking an experienced Field Sales & Business Development Manager to join their team based in South Essex. This is an integral position within their Management Team reporting directly to the MD, leading, and supporting with all sales activities.
The successful Field Sales & Business Development Manager will be expected to have:
- Previous experience of Engineering Principles / Process Industries / Renewable energy or technical sales advantageous
- Confidence in building strong connections and converting to sales via face-to-face and lead generation activities
- A full UK Driving License and car

The Field Sales & Business Development Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the sales function of the business, working closely with the MD. The ideal candidate will be proactive and enjoy taking accountability with a track record of attracting new business.
Duties to include but not limited to:
- Increasing and building upon new business opportunities through cold calling, using LinkedIn, Google activities, utilising current CRM system & proactiveness
- Promoting core products & services to new and existing customers
- Arranging & attending face-to-face meetings with a nationwide client base
- Attending video conferencing calls with customers / suppliers
- Attending exhibitions in the UK
- Sales reporting directly to Managing Director
This is an exciting opportunity to become a key member of staff and it will suit someone who enjoys looking for ways to improve sales and be part of the senior management team supporting the director with growth plans long term.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm - working from home 1 day a week
Salary: up to £60k plus annual company bonus plus car
