As a Direct Procurement Manager, you will be at the forefront of the international import business. Your mission is to scale the portfolio of imported products by identifying, onboarding, and managing global brands and large-scale retailers. This is a high-impact, commercially focused role where you will own the end-to-end performance of your category, including GMV, profit margins, and supplier relationship health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Growth: Introduce global brands and large retailers to the platform to expand market share in the international import sector.
  • Commercial Ownership: Take full accountability for daily GMV, profit, and net profit targets.
  • Supplier Negotiation: Negotiate trading terms, co-develop business plans, and secure supplier-funded marketing resources.
  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and maintain a high-performing supplier portfolio, managing the onboarding process from initial contact to launch readiness.
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and logistics teams to ensure seamless product delivery and promotional success.
Candidate Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) is required.
  • Experience: 5+ years in retail, FMCG, import/export trade, or investment-related roles with clear commercial ownership.
  • Industry Knowledge: Proven track record in scaling supplier partnerships across international markets. Experience with major e-commerce platforms (e.g., Amazon, eBay) is highly preferred.
  • Niche Expertise: Strong category experience in outdoor sports (golf, fishing gear, etc.) or lifestyle categories is a significant advantage.
  • Negotiation Skills: Ability to navigate complex commercial terms and secure marketing support/cost reductions.
  • Data-Driven: Comfortable making quick decisions based on performance indicators and market insights.
