  • Our client is an award-winning UK based Tour Operator, specialist in designing bespoke trips and tours to worldwide destinations. Expansion has led them across the pond and they’re now looking for experienced Travel Sales Consultants to join their growing team, who will offer sales and reservations support to their US based customers.

    This is a fully remote, UK based role, working 1pm – 9pm Monday to Friday, with Saturdays on a rota basis and is a fabulous opportunity for those looking for hours which may be a better fit with childcare, school drops offs or perhaps for those who are just not early birds!

    On offer is a salary circa £26k plus generous commission structure and other travel industry benefits.

    Role of Travel Sales Consultant:

  • Listening to the needs of customers and sourcing suitable travel options
  • Giving accurate and up to date advice using personal recommendation to build dream holidays and securing future business
  • Display confidence and a genuine interest in customers holiday plans over the telephone, web chat or email
  • Ensuring first class customer service throughout the customers booking journey and beyond
  • Keep up to date with competitors price strategies/activity and report back where necessary
  • Working towards achieving company and individual KPI’s and targets
  • Skills required for the role:

  • Recent experience in the travel Industry – essential
  • A proven track record of target and KPI achievements
  • Able to display enthusiasm and commitment to providing exceptional customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build and sustain business relationships with customers by building rapport and getting to know your customers
