We have a number of fantastic opportunities for experienced Travel Consultants, as we recruit for some new roles with a leading, award-winning travel organisation! Specialising in tailor-made flights and holidays, our client is looking for GDS proficient travel consultants to join them, based in their conveniently located London office (hybrid available).
The role will suit those with previous experience of creating and tailor-making holidays and who have working knowledge of long-haul destinations including Australasia, SE Asia, US & Canada, Caribbean and Indian Ocean. Personal travel to these regions would be hugely advantageous, as would a second European language, however this is not essential.
In return, our client can offer an attractive package with a competitive basic salary up to £35k DOE plus commission and other travel industry benefits. If this role is of interest to you, please apply online.
Role of Travel Consultant:- Responding to telephone and email enquiries professionally and efficiently
- Creating bespoke, tailor-made holidays to Worldwide destinations
- Offering excellent customer service throughout the booking process
- Dealing with any post sales request, queries and amendments
- Building strong relationships with clients and suppliers
- Offering first-hand knowledge and destination advice
- Previous experience in a tailor-made travel reservations role – essential
- In depth knowledge of a GDS – essential
- Ability to deliver high levels of customer service and accuracy
- Strong sales skills – ability to meet monthly sales targets
- Excellent Worldwide geographical and product knowledge
- Fluency in a modern European language would be an advantage (not essential)
