We’re looking for a Marketing Automation specialist to join a fast-growing and ambitious Tour Operator. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing and optimising our client’s customer lifecycle communications during a period of growth and transformation. Working closely with the Lifecycle & Automation CRM Manager and Senior CRM Manager, you will support the development and execution of their CRM and lifecycle marketing strategy.
You will help design, build and optimise automated and campaign-based communications across email and SMS. The role will focus on driving bookings, increasing customer loyalty and maximising customer lifetime value through effective segmentation, automation and performance analysis. Previous experience within a similar marketing automation role is essential for the position.
Role of Lifecycle & Automation Executive:
- Support the execution of the CRM and lifecycle marketing strategy to improve customer engagement, retention and loyalty.
- Plan, build and deploy email and SMS campaigns, including recurring and automated lifecycle journeys across the brands.
- Manage and maintain the CRM marketing calendar to ensure timely delivery of campaigns and communications.
- Develop and optimise automated workflows including customer onboarding, nurture programmes, post-booking journeys and re-engagement campaigns.
- Build and maintain audience segments to ensure communications are relevant and targeted.
- Identify new audience opportunities based on customer behaviour, lifecycle stage and travel interests.
- Support the implementation of personalisation strategies across CRM channels.
- Monitor and analyse campaign performance using reporting tools such as Google Analytics and CRM platform reporting.
- Evaluate key CRM metrics, including click-through rates, conversions, and engagement trends.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness, automation journeys and overall lifecycle performance.
- Work closely with marketing, product and commercial teams to align CRM communications with wider marketing activity and promotions.
- Support the CRM Manager with day-to-day CRM operations and administrative tasks as required.
Skills required for the role:
- Proven experience with marketing automation.
- Experience with segmentation and workflow logic.
- Highly organised with strong workload management skills.

- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally.

- Logical thinker with analytical mindset.
