We have a brand new, fabulous opportunity for experienced Travel Sales Advisors to join a multiple award-winning travel organisation based in central Glasgow. Our client creates tailor-made, experience-led holidays across Scotland, Ireland, England, Wales and the Channel Islands — from carefully crafted road trips to immersive small group rail tours. Previous experience in a travel sales role is essential for the position, along with excellent knowledge of the geography of Scotland - and ideally also England, Wales and Ireland. Our client has won numerous awards over many years due to high levels of customer satisfaction, so the ability to deliver a high standard of customer service is also essential. In return they can offer a competitive salary up to £30k plus excellent benefits. This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week) within Monday–Saturday opening hours.

Role of Travel Sales Advisor:

  • Responding to enquiries and converting them into tailor-made holidays.
  • Listen and respond to the customer’s needs then organise everything from accommodation to activities to travel in order to create a unique holiday experience.
  • Working in partnership with local businesses who share our client’s commitment to quality and customer service.
  • Offering exceptional levels of customer service at all times.

Skills required for the role:

  • Recent travel sales experience backed by a strong customer service focus.
  • Excellent knowledge of the geography of Scotland - and ideally also England, Wales and Ireland - and be passionate about encouraging visitors from home and overseas to explore beyond-the-beaten track.
  • You will relish the challenge of working in a fast-paced yet supportive environment.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
