The Store Manager plays a central role in the success of the store, overseeing sales, profitability, customer service, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Recruitment, induction, and training of employees in line with Subway\’s standards—lead by example!
- Creating and managing staff schedules
- Checking deliveries, matching orders, and handling daily banking
- Preparing stock and sales paperwork, employee pay, and timesheets
- Managing cash balances and minimizing wastage
- Ensuring 100% compliance with Subway and local council guidelines
- Inventory management and stock control, including weekly stock takes and reports
- Analyzing weekly sales and inventory reports to improve business performance
- Maintaining store cleanliness and presentation
- Implementing in-store marketing materials and point-of-purchase displays in line with campaigns
