The Store Manager is responsible for the store\’s success, including sales, profitability, customer service, and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Recruitment, induction, and training of staff in line with Subway standards; lead by example.
  • Creating and managing staff schedules.
  • Checking deliveries, matching orders, and managing daily banking.
  • Preparing stock and sales paperwork; managing employee pay and timesheets.
  • Managing cash balances and reducing wastage.
  • Ensuring compliance with Subway and local guidelines.
  • Inventory management and stock control, including weekly stock takes and reporting.
  • Analyzing sales and inventory reports to improve business performance.
  • Maintaining store cleanliness and presentation.
  • Implementing in-store marketing and promotional materials.
  • Following safety procedures to prevent injuries.
