Region: Stoke on Trent / Birmingham Area.

We are searching for a Manager of Franchise Performance to support our UK & Ireland team. The Manager of Franchise Performance (MFP) acts as a liaison between Subway and franchise owners. The role involves leading, coaching, and measuring performance of assigned franchisees/restaurants to protect brand integrity and maximize profitability. The MFP assesses franchisee performance, develops strategic business plans, and provides guidance on sales, marketing, operations, and cost control. The position reports to the Head of Franchise Performance in the region.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Evaluate assigned portfolio to identify opportunities.
  • Conduct periodic business reviews to celebrate achievements and discuss future strategies.
  • Educate, motivate, and influence franchisees to improve operations and profitability, including brand initiatives, local marketing, training, P&L review, and goal setting.
  • Ensure brand standards and initiatives are communicated effectively across your portfolio.
  • Build strong relationships with franchisees through various communication methods.
  • Coach and motivate franchisees at the portfolio level.
  • Provide guidance for business growth.
  • Develop productive relationships with franchisees, team members, and HQ staff.
  • Build respect and recognition as a business leader.
  • Guide franchisees through equipment and store design processes.
  • Support franchisee expansion efforts and store transitions.
  • Address legal, leasing, and closure issues as needed.
  • Engage in training programs to enhance skills.
  • Participate in scheduled training and informational sessions.

  • Experience in area or portfolio management with P&L understanding.
  • Strong business acumen and market awareness.
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
