About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity to support our Digital team based in London, United Kingdom. The UX/UI Design Manager will apply conceptual thinking to define and actualize the digital experience across multiple touchpoints, aligning needs of product users, the goals of the Subway EMEA business at large, and the technical infrastructure supporting Subway Digital. The candidate should also support the creation of memorable and positive user experiences with intuitive, clean, and functional interfaces.

Responsibilities

  • Develop sound UX concepts, including the definition of customer needs, task analysis, and the creation of personas, storyboards, scenarios, user flows and use cases.
  • Create storyboards, wireframes, site maps and screen flows.
  • Create instant tangibility for the Subway Digital team through storytelling and rapid prototyping methods, ranging from paper sketching to interactive prototyping.
  • Define the User Interface design through information architecture, wireframes and user flows and validate it through usability testing.
  • Leverage customer analytics and insights to inform the design of end-to-end experiences; use participatory and iterative design techniques including observational studies, customer interviews, usability testing, and other forms of qualitative and quantitative research to uncover insights, learn about user behavior and verify design concepts.
  • Work with other designers to ensure an integrated and consistent brand perception.
  • Collaborate with Subway Digital Teams (Digital Data & Analytics) and Product management teams to define and execute solutions for experience and visuals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, graphic arts & design or other technical discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 to 8 years’ experience in related field.
  • Language requirements: Fluent in English – any additional language a plus.
  • Previous experience in Digital Marketing.
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Experience designing and developing outstanding interactive design concepts, leveraging both static (e.g., Adobe) and dynamic (e.g., Azure) prototyping tools.
  • Strong knowledge of information architecture, creative storyboard, wireframes, user flows, site maps and process flows.
