About the Role: Working closely with a variety of stakeholders, the NBD Manager will be tasked with delivering our new sales strategy with the ultimate goal of growing our restaurant count through profitable restaurant development. They will be tasked with attracting and securing new Franchisees across UK and Ireland through referrals and the ability to proactively generate new leads.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for the identification, evaluation, and due diligence of potential new leads, track in appropriate Subway systems as required.
  • This is a sales and relationship focused role responsible for identifying through Research & Analysis, negotiating and providing transitional support during the onboarding process of new Franchisees.
  • Reviews analysis of new leads, and interprets financial models estimating revenue growth, profitability, and impact on the organization's strategic business plans.
  • Makes recommendations on deals that best support the organization's goals.
  • Conducts due diligence to understand the target company's business and legal practices, liabilities, financial standing, and intellectual property.
  • Develop and maintain the FZE Growth Readiness Dashboard which allows us to easily identify and work with our existing partners that have the capacity to grow their portfolios.
  • Develop and maintain collateral that is locally relevant; reflects the latest business activity and showcases the best of the brand and will be utilized across various assets which make up the UK & Ireland sales toolkit.
  • Attend Franchise Sales shows, expos and industry events to recruit new Multi-Unit Owners to the System.
  • Support the Head of NBD to execute opportunities in raising the awareness of Franchising opportunities across the market with both Trad & Non-Trad prospects.
  • Identify, recruit, vet, and guide Multi-Unit Owner (MUO) Candidates to join the Subway system via the acquisition of existing franchised stores.
  • Create selling tools and collateral, and use them to communicate the Subway opportunity to stakeholders including Candidates, Lenders, Equity Partners, etc.
  • Match candidates with opportunities, helping to create opportunities of scale.
  • This position requires travelling, meeting MUOs and identifying new sites and meeting with major Landlords.
