Role Purpose
The Volunteer Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting SSS's mission by leading the recruitment, training, coordination, and retention of volunteers across our services. The postholder will develop and maintain a high-quality volunteer programme that aligns with SSS strategic priorities and supports safe, effective service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Onboarding
- Develop and implement volunteer recruitment strategies.
- Manage application, screening, and selection processes.
- Conduct interviews and assess volunteer suitability.
- Coordinate inductions and onboarding processes.
- Training & Support
- Develop and deliver volunteer training programmes.
- Provide supervision and ongoing support.
