Network Security Engineer
Substance is searching for a dedicated and knowledgeable Network Security Engineer to join our client\’s team to protect their IT infrastructure against cyber threats. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing network security solutions that safeguard the organization’s sensitive information. You will collaborate with various teams to develop effective security policies and protocols, ensuring that the network environment remains secure and compliant with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure network architectures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Monitor network traffic and respond to security incidents and breaches in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify and mitigate risks.
- Develop and maintain security policies and best practices to align with compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure proper configuration and hardening of network devices and systems.
