About the job
Role Overview
We are looking for a creative, motivated Social Producer who lives and breathes online fandoms and knows exactly how to make content cut through the noise. If you understand internet culture, how communities interact with their favourite franchises, and what makes a short‑form video stop someone from scrolling, we want you on our team. In this role, you will collaborate to breathe life into major entertainment IPs. Your main objective is to turn full‑length content into highly engaging social‑first videos and static assets. You will handle everything behind the lens—from conceptualising and shooting mobile footage to final delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Creative Ideation: Brainstorm imaginative social concepts—spanning daily reactive posts to large‑scale campaigns—designed to maximise franchise visibility and engagement.
- Content Creation: Produce thumb‑stopping multimedia assets using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, mobile tools, and native in‑app editors.
- Real‑Time Execution: Capitalise on real‑time cultural and fandom milestones by developing rapid‑response, high‑volume content under tight deadlines.
- Trend & Platform Monitoring: Research digital platform trends, shifting algorithms, and emerging formats across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook to maintain a competitive edge.
- Brand & Platform Alignment: Maintain strict alignment with brand guidelines while ensuring content feels completely native, casual, and authentic to platform culture.
- Community Cultivation: Foster an active digital community and track ongoing franchise conversations to continually refine our creative output based on audience sentiment.
Experience & Qualifications
- Proven Track Record: Experience as a Social Producer, Fan Editor, or Content Creator within a social‑first marketing agency or the entertainment sector.
- Production Literacy: Significant experience in social editing, posting, and managing production processes (including creative feedback, asset delivery, and commercial responsibilities).
- Software Expertise: Expert‑level command of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects) alongside platform‑native editing tools.
- File Hygiene: Excellent organisational skills regarding project files, following internal workflows to ensure seamless hand‑offs to other team members.
- Operational Proficiency: Strong IT skills, including familiarity with project tracking tools and collaborative software.
Attributes & Cultural Fluency
- Editing Expertise: A master of pacing, tone, and humour who knows how to build emotional hooks and blend raw, platform‑native styles with polished post‑production.
- Cultural Fluency: Deeply embedded in the social media landscape with a strategic, innovative approach to content ideation and an eye for driving high engagement.
- Fandom Obsessed: A genuine passion for mainstream cinema, pop culture, and legacy entertainment franchises.
- Communication: Outstanding written, verbal, and collaborative communication skills.
