The Project Quality Manager has the responsibility for supporting the successful delivery of a significant GPC East Project executed out of TĂĽrkiye, with Project Management and Engineering (PME) being delivered and supported by our core GPC East offices/locations. The role can be based in Lisbon, London or Paris with the expectation of regular travel to TĂĽrkiye, and other GPC East offices and key supplier locations. The role has empowerment and accountability to support the tactical direction of the Project driven by the Project Leadership Team and AME Vice President.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- The Project Quality Manager leads the delivery of Quality across the Project, working closely with the Project portfolio Quality Manager and leadership to drive performance and ensure success.
- Leadership
- Champion collaborative Quality Leadership across the Project and GPC East HSSEQ.
- Foster a “One Team” culture through active support and peer collaboration to deliver quality outcomes.
- Drive transformational performance using Human Organisational Performance (HOP) principles.
- Lead and develop the Project Quality team, building trust and positive relationships.
- Act as a visible ambassador for Quality improvement across GPC East.
- Promote standardisation through lessons learned and best practices.
- Ensure robust Quality Assurance and Control for operational activities, including vessel installations.
- Align with Subsea7’s strategic direction, cascading objectives from Executive to Project level.
- Embed Group and GPC East Quality goals and KPIs within the Project.
- Lead the strategy, development, and implementation of effective Quality methodologies, systems, and tools to support consistent performance and compliance across the projects.
- Champion Quality Assurance to deliver safe and predictable delivery.
- Develop and execute effective Quality performance analysis and reporting, focusing on key areas, trends, and predictive intervention to support stakeholder interests and ensure project delivery excellence.
- Develop and implement regional Integrated Audit Plans and Quality Surveillance Programs to ensure project compliance with BMS, GPC East processes, and governance requirements.
- Provide competent Quality technical resources for project delivery.
- Strategise delivery of Quality resources to projects through manpower loading rationalisation, acquisition of niche skills, staff competency development or enhancement program to support timely delivery of services or solutions.
- Lead the execution and enhancement of Project Quality Management sub-skills through structured capability and competency development, ensuring a sustainable pipeline of skilled Quality practitioners to support regional projects.
- Support the implementation of the Group and GPC East Quality Strategy and Program through strategic initiatives, effective communication and improvement measures to innovate solutions, continuous improvement and create competitive advantages for the region.
What experience would we like you to have?
- Professional qualifications – Degree qualified in Engineering, Quality Management or equivalent.
- Experience of the subsea, offshore or a related industry, including holding a management position with line management responsibility.
- Possess excellent working knowledge and relevant experience in the Quality Management System, Project Quality Management and other multi-disciplinary aspects of project management.
- Experience in professional team development.
- Enhanced negotiation and people skills and inter-personal relations with stakeholders and Clients.
- Extensive technical quality experience in a quality Management role.
- Auditing and Quality Management qualification, IRCA certified lead assessor would be preferred.
- Visionary attributes to deliver strategic change.
