The Role : Project Manager

We are searching for a Project Manager, a new position created for our growing portfolio of commercial and R&D projects. You will play a critical role in the development of our project management processes and procedures, collaborating closely with engineers, clients, and vendors, you will drive project success by coordinating resources, managing timelines, and mitigating risks.
Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Support development of policies and procedures as part of a company integrated management system
- Lead and manage offshore installation projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring all objectives, timelines, and budgets are met.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timeline, budget, risk management, and resource allocation to support both bid & proposal activities as well as project execution.
Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Responsible for effective contracting management for all project related activities, both client facing and outsourced delivery contracting.
- Prepare and deliver regular project updates and progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure effective communication across all parties involved in the project to promote collaboration and problem-solving.
Budget & Resource Management
- Oversee project budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and managing project finances to ensure timely, on-budget delivery.
- Support both procurement and contracting activities.
- Monitor procurement, logistics, and equipment mobilization for offshore activities.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations in offshore environments.
- Ensure adherence to local, national, and international offshore installation standards and regulations.
Completion Support
- Provide project completion support as required, including troubleshooting, performance reviews, capturing lessons learned and delivery of internal and external final project documentation.
Skills & Experience Profile
Required
- Bachelor\’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years industry experience supporting delivery of offshore installation projects.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent project management certification.
- Training in Project Management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello, etc.).
Desired
- Experience with offshore logistics, vessel coordination, and subsea installation processes.
- Experience managing R&D and government funded projects.
- Procurement / supply-chain management experience.
- Knowledge of engineering principles and offshore construction standards and class body project verification requirements (e.g., API, ISO, DNV, ASME)
