About the job

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will play a leading role in the development and capture of new business opportunities in the global market for offshore foundations and anchors. You will bring a combination and skills and experience in consultative selling and a wide range of market facing activities to include speaking at industry conferences and workshops.

The role will also require regular travel (predominately UK and Europe) to support stakeholder engagement as well participate in industry events. The company has its head office in Dublin with its main operational base located in Aberdeenshire.

Key Responsibilities

STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT

  • Develop and manage relationships with clients and stakeholders across UK & Europe
  • Collect and collate market research to inform the global sales strategy

LEAD GENERATION & PLANNING

  • Create and manage sales forecasts in conjunction with other key internal stakeholders using CRM system
  • Lead capture of new business opportunities for new applications across market segments.
  • Development and implementation of an account management plan

BIDS & PROPOSALS

  • Develop a knowledge of technology applications, and an awareness and understanding of client considerations involved in our business.
  • Develop persuasive proposals that effectively communicate technology and anchor solutions

TEAM LEADERSHIP

  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

EXTERNAL REPRESENTATIVE

  • Attend conferences and events to establish and nurture relationships with industry partners.
  • Deliver client presentations and undertake public speaking opportunities to raise the profile of the company

About the Person

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor\’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Sales & Marketing or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years business development experience
  • 3+ years offshore industry experience, ideally offshore construction, wind, survey and/or aquaculture industries.
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience speaking at public events and conferences
  • Proficient with use of MS office tools to include Teams, PowerPoint, Word,Excel, etc.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Procurement / supply-chain management experience.
