The Programme Manager will develop and manage clear and concise programme plans. The role is responsible for the upward reporting of programme performance to support portfolio governance, and the daily leadership of Project Managers to support the successful delivery of programmes and projects. This role will be of strategic importance and will report into our product Chief Engineers.
Responsibilities Will Include:
- Delivery of programmes in line with the business portfolio.
- Delivery of customer contracts along with the ongoing relationship management and reporting.
- Establishing, implementing and continuously improving the programme management processes within the existing business management systems.
- Responsible for running programme review meetings and maintaining a concise monthly reporting rhythm.
- Responsible for the management of risks and blockers, utilising a depth of experience and escalating where required.
- Responsible for identifying interdependencies between programmes and projects.
- Responsible for the monitoring of resource allocation and usage, to ensure strategic priorities are appropriately executed.
- Provide a point of escalation for project team members.
- Providing line management to project managers, and leadership to the wider project organisation.
Qualifications And Experience:
- Extensive experience in Programme Management and hold a recognised qualification
- Experience with the compilation and presentation of key, industry standard, programme artefacts
- Experience with defence and military contracting processes and reporting rhythms
- Experience of working across functions β including knowledge of commercial management, safety, best practice, supply chain, finance
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- High level of proficiency with various project and programme software packages
Note: Due to the nature of work undertaken at SubSea Craft, the selected candidate must be capable of meeting the security requirements of the position, which would include as a minimum existing right to live and work in the UK, Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), with UK National security clearance required for certain roles.
