Job Description
Subsea7 has an exciting opportunity for a digitally talented Content Creator to join our Learning & Development Team (Offshore Delivery).

What will you be doing?
Subsea7 operate in over 30 countries across the world. Our people working offshore form a diverse multi-cultural community and play a vital part in our business success.
Designing effective digital learning solutions helps us to create engaging and impactful learning experiences which can be deployed to locations around the world.
How do we do this? By understanding the learner, the learning environment, and the learning objectives.
Our learning content encompasses a broad range of specialist areas. You will work closely with colleagues and professional bodies to create and deliver high-quality digital learning activities through online, hybrid and highly blended formats.
To achieve this you will be supported by the Learning and Development Lead and technical advisors throughout the analysis, development, design and implementation of learning solutions. Responsibilities include:
- Creation of engaging learning content utilising digital tools and traditional methods. Work with L&D team members, technical advisors, and stakeholders to understand and assess requirements and develop effective learning solutions.
- Conducting a thorough analysis of learning needs and develop tailored learning solutions that effectively meet the desired objectives. Formats may include digital guides, e-learning modules, workshops, and blended learning programmes.
- Creating engaging and interactive content involving the integration of diverse media formats such as video, audio, text, and interactive elements. Preferably, this is achieved using Articulate software.
- Align learning content with business goals, audience needs, accessibility, and brand standards.
- Create and provide support to both online and face-to-face training sessions as required.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the business including HR, HRIS, IT, Crewing, Communications, technical and function experts and programme facilitators. Also, external vendors and industry bodies.
What experience would we like you to have?
- Experience of applying adult learning theories within design and delivery
- Experience in support of L&D activities for remote workers would be beneficial but is not essential
- Experience in creating interactive and engaging learning content.
- Knowledge of Accessibility and Inclusive design.
- Highly proficient in IT systems including Office365; Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and authoring tools. Also, e-learning tools, specifically Articulate.
- Learning Management System knowledge preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Builds and Maintains strong business relationships at all levels across an onshore and offshore multi-cultural global workforce.
- A passion for learning and development and will take pride in being part of someone's learning and development experience.
- Confident participating in one to one or group settings.
- Highly organised with a keen attention to detail.
- Pro-active and solutions focused, with the ability to work autonomously using initiative or as part of a team.
