Overview
In this role you support the FRC Financial Reporting team to deliver accurate accounting services for Subsea 7 group entities. You will prepare statutory statements and regional financial reporting, perform reconciliations and analytical reviews, and work with regional finance teams to ensure compliance and timely reporting. You will engage with external auditors and contribute to the development of group accounting practices. This is a hands-on, collaborative opportunity to grow within a global finance function that values safety, integrity and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Prepare statutory financial statements and quarterly management accounts for less complex entities; assist with larger entities
- Generate financial reports and statements for key stakeholders
- Liaise with external auditors regarding year-end group accounts and statutory statements
- Apply and uphold group accounting policies
- Prepare reconciliations and perform detailed analysis with supporting documentation
- Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements and financial controls are met on time
- Perform entity-specific analysis and postings within SAP
- Collaborate with regional finance teams and Finance Directors to provide value-added service
- Identify opportunities for process improvements
- Coordinate with other departments to resolve issues in a timely manner
Key requirements
- Finance or Accounting degree
- Experience in a similar role or placement in finance is advantageous
- Microsoft Excel and overall Microsoft Office proficiency
