About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Director or VP of IT/OT to lead the convergence of Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) across our global data center portfolio. This role is critical in driving reliability, scalability, and security of infrastructure supporting high-performance computing environments, including next-generation data center technologies. You will define and execute the IT/OT strategy, ensuring seamless integration across digital systems, physical infrastructure, and operational processes to support rapid growth and innovation.

What You’ll Do

  • Key Responsibilities
    • Strategy & Leadership
      • Develop and execute a global IT/OT strategy aligned with business and data center growth objectives
      • Lead digital transformation initiatives across data center infrastructure
      • Build and scale high-performing global IT/OT teams across multiple regions
      • Serve as a key advisor to executive leadership on infrastructure, cybersecurity, and operational resilience
    • Data Center & Infrastructure
      • Oversee IT systems supporting mission-critical facilities (DCIM, BMS, EMS, etc.)
      • Ensure high availability, uptime, and performance of data center infrastructure
      • Drive standardization of systems, architecture, and processes across global sites
      • Partner with engineering teams on design, build, and commissioning of new facilities
    • IT/OT Convergence
      • Lead integration between enterprise IT systems and operational technologies
      • Establish secure, scalable connectivity between data center assets and enterprise platforms
      • Implement best practices for OT cybersecurity, including segmentation and risk mitigation
    • Cybersecurity & Compliance
      • Develop and enforce global IT/OT security frameworks aligned with international standards and industry best practices
      • Ensure compliance with data privacy and infrastructure regulations across geographies
      • Manage risk, incident response, and disaster recovery planning
    • Operational Excellence
      • Drive continuous improvement in uptime, efficiency, and cost optimization
      • Implement monitoring, analytics, and reporting tools for real-time visibility
      • Lead vendor selection, partnerships, and contract negotiations

Qualifications

What You’ll Need

  • 12+ years of experience in IT, OT, or infrastructure leadership roles
  • Strong data center experience (hyperscale, colocation, or enterprise environments)
  • Proven leadership in IT/OT convergence within critical infrastructure environments
  • Deep knowledge of:
    • Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM)
    • Building Management Systems (BMS)
    • Network and systems architecture
    • Industrial control systems
  • Experience scaling global teams and operations

Preferred Experience

  • Background in high-density compute, AI/ML infrastructure, or liquid cooling environments
  • Experience with hyperscalers or data center operators
  • Familiarity with edge computing, digital twins, and smart infrastructure
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP, or relevant cloud certifications
