What You Will Do
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic VP of Brand & Communications to lead the global brand, messaging, and communications strategy for a fast-growing, technology-driven organization in the data center and digital infrastructure space. This leader will shape how we position ourselves in a rapidly evolving market—including hyperscale, colocation, AI infrastructure, and next-generation data center technologies—while ensuring a consistent, compelling brand voice across all channels. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in data centers, critical infrastructure, or adjacent industries, with a proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into impactful storytelling.
What You Will Need
- Key Responsibilities
- Brand Strategy & Positioning
- Define and lead a global brand strategy that differentiates the company within the data center and digital infrastructure ecosystem
- Own brand architecture, positioning, messaging, and visual identity across all markets
- Partner with executive leadership to elevate corporate narrative and market perception
- Communications & Thought Leadership
- Lead global external and internal communications, including PR, media relations, executive communications, and crisis management
- Position the company as a thought leader in areas such as hyperscale infrastructure, sustainability, and next-generation data center technologies
- Develop high-impact content strategies (white papers, case studies, industry insights, keynote messaging)
- Industry & Market Engagement
- Drive presence and influence across key industry forums, events, and partnerships (e.g., data center, cloud, AI ecosystems)
- Build relationships with industry analysts, media, and key stakeholders
- Oversee awards, speaking engagements, and brand visibility initiatives
- Digital & Marketing Integration
- Ensure alignment between brand and digital marketing efforts
- Oversee website, social media, and digital storytelling platforms to deliver a consistent brand experience and increase brand visibility
- Community & Stakeholder Engagement
- Organize initiatives within local communities such as information sessions, ribbon-cutting or groundbreaking ceremonies, networking events, etc. to educate and inform residents about our projects
- Lead social impact initiatives focused on education and career pathways, especially for underrepresented groups, through partnerships with local schools and institutions
- Internal Communications
- Establish and maintain an employee communications hub (Intranet) and manage the flow of information from leadership to employees
- Plan and organize corporate events for employee engagement
- Leadership & Team Development
- Build and lead a high-performing global brand and communications team
- Manage agencies and external partners across regions
- Establish KPIs to measure brand performance, awareness, and engagement
- Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in brand, communications, or marketing leadership roles
- Proven experience in data centers, cloud infrastructure, digital infrastructure, or critical technology environments
- Strong understanding of data center ecosystem (hyperscale’rs, colocation, edge, AI infrastructure)
- Demonstrated success building global brands in high-growth or transformation environments
- Experience managing global communications, PR, and executive visibility
- Preferred Experience
- Experience with hyperscalers or major data center operators
- Exposure to sustainability messaging (energy efficiency, green data centers)
- Background in high-growth, scale-up, or innovation-driven organizations
- Familiarity with emerging trends (AI infrastructure, liquid cooling, digital transformation)
- Key Competencies
- Strategic and creative storyteller with strong commercial acumen
- Ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences
- Executive presence and experience advising senior leadership
