As part of the Regulatory Product team, you will use your experience on regulatory reporting to enhance the architecture, development, and expansion of our portfolio of reports in partnership with our product team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with client-facing implementation projects, defining business requirements (new products, new regulations etc) and supporting clients with data mapping to the FIRE data schema.
- Have a strong understanding across one family of regulatory reports and stay updated on regulatory changes liaising with clients and other experts in the industry.
- Provide subject matter expertise in the updating of logic used to populate regulatory returns in partnership with our Lead Engineers.
- Support the Customer Success team by providing specialist input to client queries under BAU conditions.
- Develop and enhance documentation and training materials for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Mentor and educate Graduates and Junior Engineers with your regulatory knowledge.
- Elevate Suade's presence in the regulatory space and work with our Sales and Marketing teams to assist in preparation for presentations and events where regulatory knowledge is required.
- An ability to understand, interpret and communicate regulatory rules with experience in at least one of the main reporting areas: capital, liquidity, leverage, balance sheet, credit risk, market risk etc.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in regulatory reporting at a regulated firm or as a consultant.
- Good banking product understanding (Loans, Securities, Derivatives, etc.).
- High proficiency in Excel (lookups, pivot tables, etc.).
- Experience working with financial data, data mapping and analysis.
- Good stakeholder management capabilities.
- Excellent English verbal/listening and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with various levels of management by distilling complex ideas.
- Strong interpersonal and team working skills.
- Flexibility to work under pressure to meet changing work requirements and strict deadlines.
- Self-motivated, detailed-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
