Suade is seeking candidates to join our Graduate Software Engineering programme, which focuses on developing innovative Regulatory Technology (RegTech) software. If you are passionate about technology and finance and want to start your software engineering career, we invite you to apply. The Graduate Software Engineering programme offers four distinct pathways, each with its own focus and responsibilities (outlined below). As part of your application, you’ll be invited to indicate your preferred pathway. We’ll always aim to match you with your first choice. However, to ensure the best fit for both you and the team, final placement will be based on your skills, experience, and overall profile.

Please note: This role is based in London. Suade has a flexible working policy but you will need to be available to come into the London office when required. Some travel may be required.   • Platform Engineering: As a Platform Engineer, you’ll work on the foundations of our technology stack: improving developer experience, scaling our infrastructure, increasing reliability, and making it easier and safer for teams to ship great software. This is a great role if you enjoy solving systemic problems, automating things, and working close to infrastructure, tooling, and core systems.
  • What You’ll Do: Design, build, and maintain internal tools, platforms, and services used by our engineering/business team; Help automate manual processes and reduce operational overhead; Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical planning.
  • Frontend Engineering: As a Frontend Engineer, you’ll work hands‑on with Vue 3, Vite, and a contemporary JavaScript/TypeScript stack to build performant, accessible user interfaces, while using Playwright to create robust end‑to‑end tests that ensure quality and confidence in every release. If you're someone who loves the visual side of things, loves thinking about User Experiences, and has an eye for detail, being a Frontend Engineer might be for you.
  • What You’ll do: Be part of the full product feature lifecycle, from design, implementation and testing; Participate and contribute to process planning and designs; Assist other python teams in their building of features by providing frontend support.
  • Regtech Engineering: As a RegTech Engineer, you’ll work at the intersection of regulation, finance, and technology, helping to design and build the core systems that power our regulatory reporting solutions. This role is ideal if you want to apply strong engineering skills while developing a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and financial data.
  • What You’ll Do: Translate complex regulatory requirements into robust, maintainable code (primarily Python); Design, build, and extend core components of our regulatory reporting platform; Contribute to code reviews, testing strategies, and continuous improvement of our products.
  • Submissions Engineering: As a Submission Engineer, you’ll work in one of the most critical stages of our customer lifecycle: data validation and regulatory submission. This role is ideal if you want to deepen your understanding of regulatory frameworks while continuing to build and apply strong engineering skills.
  • What You’ll Do: Translate regulatory requirements into code (SQL & Python); Design and build automation tools to support validation and submission processes; Contribute to code reviews, technical design discussions, and engineering planning.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field; Familiarity with version control systems (Git); Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail; Understanding of testing principles and TDD; Platform/Regtech/Submissions Engineering – proficiency in at least one programming language (preferably Python); Frontend Engineering – proficiency in at least one programming language (preferably JavaScript).

Benefits: 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays; Flexible holiday – choose when you take your holidays by opting out of bank holidays if you would like!; Additional annual leave holiday – an extra day of annual leave for every 3 years you work at Suade in addition to your existing 25 days on a pro rata basis; Company Pension; Maternity leave and extraordinary paternity leave; Flexible working hours; £500 Annual Training/Development Subsidy; Perkbox; Salary £38,000.
