We’re a fast-growing brand with a clear mission: to help athletes go further, explore more, and perform at their peak sustainably and authentically.

We’re now looking for an Athlete & Events Manager to join our team, someone who can lead from the front on athlete relationships and take full ownership of our event and partner presence globally.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Source, evaluate, and manage athlete and team partnerships globally (gravel cycling, ultra/trail running, marathon, etc.).
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of grassroots clubs, elite teams, and performance-focused talent aligned with STYRKR’s values and ambitions.
  • Lead outreach, onboarding, and relationship management for new and existing athlete partners.
  • Stay on top of endurance trends, community shifts, and global event calendars.
  • Act as day-to-day liaison for STYRKR athletes across regions, covering fueling support, logistics, race bonuses, deliverables, and general comms.
  • Oversee race-day coordination and nutrition planning for athletes at key events.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brief athlete content, shape narratives, and manage social and PR opportunities.
  • Organise content capture at key races from podium moments to behind-the-scenes footage.
  • Own the full planning, logistics, and delivery of STYRKR event activations from grassroots rides to major international events.
  • Act as the internal lead for events, managing timelines, task lists, budgets, and execution across departments.
  • Coordinate all logistics, including staff and athlete schedule, kit, stand, and equipment preparation, stock planning and fulfilment, local permits, insurance, and compliance.
  • Maintain a live, central events calendar, flagging resource needs and key deadlines across the wider team.
  • Be the main contact for race organisers, team partners, and collaborators, representing STYRKR with professionalism and clarity.
  • Support athlete-led initiatives such as community rides/runs, training camps, or race-day support squads.
  • Track and evaluate event performance, creating post-event reports with learnings and ROI insights.
  • Manage athlete contracts, seeding plans, bonus schemes, and compliance tracking.
  • Track athlete/ambassador performance metrics and share regular updates with the wider marketing team.
  • Support the Community Activations and Tech Rep with regional rollout and logistics.
  • Help manage product gifting, sampling campaigns, and internal coordination for athlete and ambassador fulfilment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 1+ years in sports marketing, athlete management, or brand/event partnerships (ideally in endurance sport).
  • Strong understanding of the endurance landscape, especially cycling (gravel/road), ultra/trail running, and marathon scenes.
  • Proven experience building and managing athlete or ambassador relationships.
  • Hands-on with logistics and event planning, you thrive in the details.
  • Comfortable working across time zones and flexible when it comes to event weekends or travel.
  • Excellent communicator with strong relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
  • Confident working independently but collaborative in a fast-paced team.

How You Work:

  • You take ownership of wins, challenges, and everything in between.
  • You’re proactive, organised, and don’t wait for permission to get started.
  • You see opportunities where others see friction.
  • You’re driven by relationships, impact, and execution in equal measure.
  • You get stuck in and know how to move fast without dropping the ball.
  • You think commercially and communicate clearly.
  • You’re deeply embedded in endurance culture and know what authentic community looks like.

Why Join STYRKR?

  • Skill Development: No two days are the same. You’ll gain exposure across departments, roles, and regions as we scale.
  • Mentorship & Ownership: Work closely with senior leadership and take true ownership of your domain.
  • Start-up Agility: As a vertically integrated company, we move fast and adapt even faster.
  • Culture That Moves: We foster a sociable, energetic, and driven culture that motivates everyone to level up.

What You’ll Get:

  • Competitive salary + performance bonus
  • Key role with direct impact on company strategy
  • Flexible hybrid working, with HQ based near Gatwick
  • Visibility across all business areas - from eComm to manufacturing
