- Working on a variety of sites and / or workshop-based projects, ensuring specified standards are met to meet business and customer expectations.
- Fabrication of structural steel work and sheet metal from drawings, making sure specifications are met.
- Make sure workshop machineries such as guillotines, saws, rollers, drills, grinder etc, are used correctly and during the performance of your role, for the safety of yourself and others. Also ensuring that any equipment which is left unattended is correctly stored away from harm.
- Carry out welding to high standards using TIG & MIG, in order for work to be carried out effectively and efficiently, meeting the businesses and customer requirements.
- Adhere to project deadlines, to manage expectations and ensure that goals are achieved on time to support the business’ success.
- Maintain good working relationships with customers and suppliers, to build trust and engagement, ensuring that their and our needs and requirements are understood and met.
- Make sure that all welding/ fabrication processes and tasks are carried out with the upmost caution and care, in adherence to the health & safety policy.
- Ensure that quality targets are met, to enhance Styne’s reputation and brand, protect against risk and ensure consistent and efficient delivery.
Requirements Essential
- Full UK Drivers Licence.
- MIG and TIG Welding: 3 to 4 years.
- The ability to read and understand engineering diagrams and technical drawings.
- Live within a commutable distance of IP22 1LP.
- Knowledge of the food, drink or energy industry.
