The Student Welfare Officer role is to establish supportive, caring and secure relationships with students and to be available to offer individual support and someone for them to talk to. To provide specialist support and intervention where students are identified as having complex support needs. This includes support regarding students' mental health, homelessness, safeguarding disclosures, stress, anxiety and other physical or emotional issues. The Welfare Officer supports to coordinate and liaise with external support services regarding provision available to our student body and to work with the barrier(s) in order for the student body to access their education.

The successful candidate will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS check.
