An opportunity has arisen for a Team Assistant to join STV Studios - Factual, on a 6-month fixed term contract basis to provide comprehensive administration and secretarial support to the Creative Director, Craig Hunter and Head of Production, Sarah Forster, as well as the wider STV Studios - Factual team. Key to success in this role is the ability to be proactive, demonstrate strong organisational and communication skills coupled with proficient use of MS Office and Teams.
THE ROLE
- Provide PA support to the Creative Director, Factual and Head of Production, Factual, along with wider administration support to STV Studios team.
- Providing secretarial and administrative support and effective diary management.
- Demonstrate an ability to prioritise, including setting up meetings and video/conference calls, handling phone calls, taking meeting minutes and handling correspondence in a professional manner.
- Maintenance of paper based and digital filing systems.
- Coordinating departmental events, travel and accommodation as appropriate in line with Company policy.
- Assist in any other aspect of the work of the company as reasonably required.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Proven related experience in an administrative and secretarial business support role within a fast-paced environment, possibly within the media environment.
- Experience of creating and maintaining spreadsheets.
- Ability to forward plan, prioritise, achieve deadlines and adapt to a fast paced and varied workload whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail to maintain a high-quality output.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively and develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong IT skills, in particular MS Office, with a detailed understanding of Excel.
- Familiarity of a television production environment preferable but not essential.
