The Role
The Production Co-ordinator is an essential role right at the heart of STV Creative, providing production and administration support in a fast paced, creative commercial environment. If you’re a team player who is passionate about TV, digital and radio advertising, then this is where to be.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the department and to the Director of Strategy & Creative, including meeting coordination, planning, sound bookings, team updates, finance processes, hospitality requests and travel bookings.
- Provide production coordination and support to Producer, including casting and shoot preparation, petty cash requests and reconciliations, invoice processing, responding to and trafficking enquiries, managing filing systems and paperwork, preparing call sheets and other production administrative tasks.
- Assist with research tasks, including sourcing images and video content for presentations and pitches.
- Manage the STV Creative Talent Bank, adding CVs and portfolios as required, actioning data retention policies.
- Producing entry level radio, TV and Pause ad campaigns, amends to existing creative campaigns and clearance and delivery projects.
- Assist Producers on set as required, including floor running.
- Assist in any other aspects of the work of the Company as reasonably required.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven related experience working in an administrative support capacity within a fast-paced environment is essential.
- Experience in an advertising or television production environment is desirable.
- Full, clean driving licence held for a minimum of 1 year is essential.
- Experience of pre-production, production, and post-production processes, including craft roles, facility/technical requirements and health and safety legislation would be desirable.
- Demonstrable passion for television advertising and marketing, including an understanding of the changing media landscape in broadcast and digital platforms.
- Excellent organisational and forward planning skills coupled with attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise workload accordingly to manage deadlines and adapt to a varied workload.
- Ability to use initiative and problem solve, escalating to senior colleagues as appropriate.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal, and ability to liaise with internal and external clients at all levels of seniority.
- Excellent IT skills including proficiency in all MS Office and Teams applications.
