THE ROLE
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Marketing Executive to join STV’s marketing team on a 12 month fixed term contract to cover a period of maternity leave. This role will primarily cover the successful management of paid digital campaigns across social media and search platforms, getting the STV brand in front of more people and driving new and existing audiences to our platforms.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Paid campaign management: Drive customer acquisition and retention by planning, creating and managing paid digital campaigns for Meta platforms, Google and YouTube Ads and TikTok Ads primarily, across awareness, engagement and conversion cycles. Manage ad-hoc and smaller campaigns on other platforms. Conduct experiments to uncover new insights and help make data led decisions.
- Performance analysis: Regularly analyse performance; monitor, optimise, report and make data-driven decisions on campaign effectiveness. Regularly report on campaign performance and provide detail to be included in wider marketing reports and plans. Ensure budgets are efficiently used and allocated, delivering maximum ROI.
- Collaboration: Work with the Engagement Team to tie together targeting and cross promotion as well as utilising CRM system to retarget. Advise the Creative Team on assets required and approaches to paid assets for content campaigns. Work with wider marketing team to implement cohesive campaigns, develop new ideas and approaches and be the expert paid digital voice to input into the wider planning. Work with the wider Digital and Audience teams to take advantage of and implement new features. Assist in any other aspect of the work of the Company as reasonably required.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Demonstrable related experience of managing paid digital campaigns across social and search platforms (PPC, paid social and display) is essential.
- Proficiency in Meta Ads Manager, YouTube Ads, TikTok Ads and Google Ads.
- Demonstrable experience and understanding of digital marketing principles and techniques.
- Detailed understanding of IOS and Android platforms.
- Data driven with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and optimise performance with demonstrable experience working with digital and social analytics platforms and other relevant reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with a range of stakeholders.
- A positive, proactive, detail-oriented approach with a passion for digital marketing.
- Strong writing skills.
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in all MS Office applications.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
