THE ROLE

The Commercial Marketing Manager is a hands-on role within STV Commercial, responsible for developing and delivering marketing activity that supports revenue growth and brings STV’s commercial offering to life for clients and partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • B2B Campaign Management: Develop, plan and deliver integrated B2B marketing campaigns across TV, digital, email and social. Drive client engagement and lead generation, tracking performance and optimising results. Align marketing activity to sales pipeline priorities, supporting revenue targets and key categories.
  • Client Engagement & Experiences: Develop and maintain strong relationships with STV clients by designing and organising quality experiences and market leading Commercial events/showcases, including high profile events for 100 + people. Organise a range of client and staff engagement activities, including charity events, studio tours and other hospitality. Build strong client relationships through meaningful engagement.
  • Partnership Management: Manage key commercial and industry external partnerships. Identify and deliver contra partnerships, ensuring mutual value and overseeing delivery, including campaign execution and ad creation.
  • Commercial Strategy & Sales Enablement: Translate STV’s commercial proposition into clear, compelling client-facing collateral across all touchpoints. Develop impactful sales presentations and marketing collateral that supports revenue growth within the STV Commercial team. Communicate effectively with our clients and prospects across phone calls, emails and social channels, keeping them informed about STV's latest offerings and opportunities. Partner with sales teams to identify opportunities for growth within existing and new clients.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with teams across sales, creative and insights to develop pitches, ideas, campaigns and marketing strategies. Work with the Head of Commercial Marketing and Director of Strategy & Creative on revenue generating projects, including planning, pricing and product development for short, medium and long term growth.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Proven related experience in a marketing role, preferably within B2B media or advertising, is essential.
  • Demonstrable experience of planning and delivering events and client experiences from end to end.
  • Strong evidence of commercial awareness, with a focus on delivering activity that drives results.
  • Confident creating compelling presentations, writing copy and bringing ideas to life.
  • Experience of working with multiple internal stakeholders to deliver positive outcomes.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proven experience with campaign delivery, tracking and reporting.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ideally Keynote.
  • Proactive, flexible and willingness to get involved in a variety of tasks and projects.
