Location: based in Southampton but venues are across south of England

Job Type: trainee chef / lead

Pay: £15.00 per hour and incentives

Main Duties

  • Food Prep: Wash, chop, and portion ingredients safely.
  • Cooking: Operate griddles, hobs, fryers, and hot plates.
  • Customer Service: Take orders, process payments, and serve food with a friendly and positive attitude.
  • Hygiene: Keep the trailer clean, sanitize surfaces, and follow food hygiene and health and safety rules.
  • Setup & Pack Down: Help hitch, unhitch, clean, and stock the trailer before and after shifts.

Requirements

  • Experience: some prior cooking experience needed; training is provided.
  • Able to drive to venues.
  • Skills: Good communication, leadership/management and high, positive energy.
  • Physical Demand: Ability to stand for long shifts and work in a small, fast-paced space.
  • Flexibility: Availability to work weekends and outdoor events in all weather.
