About the Role
We are building a network of specialist tutors to support students applying to Oxbridge and other top UK universities. Tutors will provide tailored hourly sessions in their area of expertise, helping students prepare for subject-specific admissions tests, strengthen academic skills, and refine application materials.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver one-to-one tutoring sessions focused on your area of subject expertise.
- Support preparation for Oxbridge/UK university entry exams at undergraduate & postgraduate level, including (but not limited to):
- Business & Management: GMAT, GRE, TSA
- Law: LNAT
- Medicine: UCAT
- Mathematics & Sciences: MAT, PAT
- Humanities & Social Sciences: ELAT, CAT, MLAT, essay-based admissions tasks
- Provide structured feedback on Personal Statements and essays (advising on clarity, structure, and reflective content, without editing or writing on behalf of the student).
- Share study resources, practice questions, and revision strategies tailored to student needs during tutoring sessions.
- Contribute to building a resource library of subject guides, exam guides, exemplar answers with worked solutions, and recorded webinars to support wider student preparation.
- Collaborate with the central consultancy team to ensure high standards of delivery.
Requirements
- Strong academic background, ideally with Oxbridge or other UK higher education experience.
- Subject expertise in one or more of the areas listed above (specialists in all disciplines are encouraged to apply).
- Experience tutoring academic material and/or admissions preparation.
- Excellent communication and feedback skills.
- Ability to work independently as an independent contractor.
- DBS (Enhanced) Certificate
