A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and target-driven Education Consultant to join our London office team. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of international student recruitment for higher education in the UK and be fluent in English and a foreign language – Spanish preferred, but speakers of other languages are encouraged to apply.
Main Duties
- The Education Consultant is responsible for providing high quality advice and guidance to international students seeking to study in the UK and other popular study destinations.
- Deliver high quality counselling to prospective international students via a variety of online and offline channels, including but not limited to phone, email, messaging apps and in person.
- Assist with university applications, obtaining offers and facilitating enrolments.
- Provide advice and guidance on all aspects of Admissions and entry requirements to UK Universities.
- Follow-up on new and existing leads, applications and offers.
- Increase conversion at all stages throughout the student lifecycle, from lead to landing, working to Key Performance Indicator (KPIs) to meet and exceed recruitment targets.
- Liaise with a matrix of internal and external multi-disciplinary stakeholders over a range of topics including, but not limited to student recruitment, admissions, academics, compliance, trends and analysis.
- Take part in events including Education Fairs, Workshops, University Familiarisation visits, etc.
About the Candidate
- Fluent in English and at least one foreign language (Spanish preferred, but speakers of other languages are encouraged to apply).
- Experience in an international student recruitment or admissions setting for the UK higher education.
- User level experience working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
- Demonstrable record of delivering on ambitious targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Ability to manage a busy workload to tight deadlines, with excellent organisation and attention to detail.
- Excellent telephone manners and impeccable writing skills.
- Client-focused team player who is able to quickly build and maintain rapport with a range of audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree.
Desirable
- Awareness of at least one additional international study destination: Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Dubai.
- Knowledge of, or experience working or studying within, the UK higher education.
- Experience of working for an international education agent.
Salary: Competitive with uncapped bonus
