Salary: £30,000 per annum
To be a member of the Centre’s Student Experience Team with accountability for an area of the activities undertaken by the Data and Operations Team for example: data management & governance; exams, assessments and academic administration; compliance: student enrolments, attendance & HR.
To implement Study Group’s policies, standard operating processes and procedures, with the purpose of ensuring staff and students are fully supported to maximize student outcomes and satisfaction.
The post holder will report to the Student Experience Leader and will line manage Student Experience Officers and Data and Operations Officers for their specialist area in addition to carrying out administrative tasks. The post holder will work in a matrix structure and need to build strong working relationships within the Data & Operations Team, central Study Group teams, and the university partner to ensure the smooth running of the Centre.
ABOUT THE ROLEAct as Visa lead for the Centre and have a full understanding of visa compliance procedures and processes, contributing to compliance in the Centre. Organise student registration at all intake points, including late arrivals to ensure student records are updated, relevant documentation uploaded and that quality audits are undertaken for accuracy and missing information. Keep up to date with visa requirements and application procedures and ensure Validate is updated as required. Attend monthly visa lead meetings organised by the central team. Work closely with the central Visa and Compliance Manager, to embed the Study Group Standard Operating Procedures. Monitor attendance in line with the policy, logging the attendance interventions required and liaising with the progression and wellbeing Senior Coordinators to ensure interventions are implemented. Record any mitigating factors. Coordinate the workload to contact absent students and inform parents and agents when necessary. Work with the university partner Immigration Team where relevant to ensure iCAS procedures are completed as agreed in iCAS documentation. Ensure the Single Central Record for the Centre is accurately maintained. Coordinate and motivate the Data and Operations Officers to contribute to ensuring the best possible student outcomes and student experience. Liaise with other Senior Coordinators to ensure front desk/reception areas are covered during working hours and allocate workload in busy periods or during absence of the Student Experience Team. In liaison with central teams contribute to the continuous improvements of processes and communication to enhance the student experience. Provide effective performance management of direct reports, including setting personal objectives and KPIs; regularly reviewing performance of direct reports; and conducting formal performance reviews according to company policy and procedures. Facilitate, encourage and support staff to participate in regular personal development activity.
