Salary: up to Β£25,374 per annum
The International Study Centre needs an experienced and accomplished Student Experience Support Officer β Progression & Timetabling. The post holder will undertake a variety of tasks including timetabling, managing and coordinating student attendance, student administration support and provide support to the academic and SMT where necessary. This is a fast-paced environment, and the successful applicant will have proven customer service skills, possess excellent IT, communication and organisational skills. The post holder will be working in an open plan office, so it is important they enjoy working as part of a team in an international environment.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Assessment and Progression
- To support Student Experience Coordinator in exam planning and preparations.
- To support the Student Experience Coordinator to manage examination papers.
- To provide support in ensuring that student results are recorded by deadlines.
- To provide administrative support for meetings.
- To maintain studentsβ progression record.
- To work closely with colleagues to organise progression related events.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure that timetables are planned, produced and distributed accurately and in a timely manner.
- To provide administrative support in the planning, production and maintenance of class and examination timetables.
- To ensure the centre timetable is up to date in each platform.
- Assist with the Student Experience Coordinator with overseeing overall student debt, collection of tuition fees, preparing additional charge, and reporting on student finance issues to the Head of Student Experience.
- To deal with general student enquiries.
- To deal with fee payment deadlines and enquiries.
- To provide administration support to pre-sessional courses.
- To foster productive relations with internal and external stakeholders.
- Production of student letters as requested.
- Ensure student details are kept up to date on central databases β contact details, visa and passport information, sponsorship details etc.
- Assist in the preparation of student induction, including inductions packs/ welcome letters and student handbook.
- To assist and be involved in the planning and delivery of student induction and progression weeks at the various intakes.
- Any other duties required by the Deputy Director of Student Experience.
ABOUT YOU
- Minimum standard of education demonstrated by GCSEs at Grade C/Grade 4 or above, including Maths and English, or equivalent/higher qualifications.
- Experience of working in an educational environment.
- Working in a fast-paced pressurised office environment.
- Experience of working in customer facing role (Desirable).
