All Study Group activities are overseen by external bodies such as OfS or QQI. At Study Group, we provide specially designed, Study Group approved, and university-recognised pathway programmes that help students gain the necessary academic, English language, and life skills to succeed in their chosen university. The Centre Director manages the contractual partnership with the university and leads the team to meet partner expectations for student intake, outcomes, and satisfaction.

About the Role

1. Lead the centre by developing and executing a strategy that supports growth through excellent student outcomes, increasing student numbers, and maximizing business opportunities, while ensuring efficient resource use.
2. Manage the Senior Centre Leadership Team.
3. Oversee teaching quality, academic standards, student outcomes, and regulatory compliance.
4. Ensure the centre operates efficiently and profitably.
5. Safeguard students and ensure health and safety on site.
6. Lead the wider ISC team, ensuring effective and compassionate management.
7. Track and develop staff contributions and potential.
8. Promote diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
9. Create an environment that attracts, retains, and develops staff.
10. Recruit high-caliber staff, ensuring safeguarding and hiring compliance.
11. Manage partnership aspects, including liaising with university departments and stakeholders.
12. Grow revenue across all products by collaborating with sales and marketing teams.
13. Manage and oversee partnership accounts.
14. Ensure partnership development plans are on budget and on target.
15. Maximize profit and identify new product opportunities.
16. Collaborate with business development and product teams for growth.
17. Ensure accurate and timely management information for profit and loss.
18. Foster a respectful environment for staff and students.
19. Maintain high standards for teaching, safeguarding, and student engagement.
20. Ensure compliance with external requirements like UKVI, OfS, and safeguarding guidelines.
21. Maintain effective curriculum development, assessment, and monitoring.
22. Utilize modern learning practices and technology.
23. Maintain accurate records and report data as required.

About You

1. Bachelor\’s degree – Essential
2. At least 3 years of leadership/management experience in a similar environment.
3. Experience in an academic setting, managing complex education programs.
4. Budget development and financial management skills.
5. Stakeholder engagement and partnership management experience.
6. Experience leading teams in a regulated environment ensuring compliance.
